Deaf Aquatics Australia (DAA) provides information and support to athletes, parents, coaches, teachers and sport organisations who have an interest in aquatic sports and giving deaf athletes the best opportunity in their sporting participation, mainly swimming and support other sports: water polo, diving, triathlon, surf lifesaving, etc. Deaf Aquatics Australia works in partnership with Deaf Sports Australia and Swimming Australia (or relevant National Sporting Organisation) with the coordination of Australian Teams to international deaf sporting events and also assist with the coordination of aquatic sports at Australian Deaf Games. DAA is a sport committee under Deaf Sports Australia/affiliated to Deaf Sports Australia.
Athletes regularly participate in mainstream sports events with their schools and local clubs. In Swimming, athletes also swim in Multi-Class events. National and international events for other aquatic sports will be added to the list once known.
