A Tribute to John M. Lovett AM

Deaf Sports Australia expresses it deep sorrow at the passing of John Michael Lovett AM, a tremendous visionary and inspirational leader in deaf sports nationally and internationally.

John's career that spanned over 40 years was to have culminated with him presiding over the first ever Deaflympics to be staged in Australia during January 2005 in his capacity as CISS President. His absence at the Deaflympics will be sorely felt by all.

DSA will forever be grateful to John for his contributions to deaf sports in Australia.
