Introduction

Deaf Sports Australia (DSA) is a non-profit organisation committed to facilitating the access of deaf and hard of hearing people to the best sporting opportunities available in Australia.

Although DSA receives some funding from the Australian Sports Commission (ASC), the organisation is significantly under resourced and is dependant on the goodwill and efforts of participants to pay for their sporting and recreation activities.

DSA’s Butterfly Program is a sponsorship and fundraising program designed to attract corporate sponsorship and assistance to ensure DSA can continue and thrive. The Butterfly Program will allow deaf and hard of hearing people people to have the best chance to participate in sport and recreation activities across Australia and Internationally.
