High Performance

The aim of the High Performance Advisory Committee (HPAC) is to implement an integrated high performance plan to achieve sustainable success in International competition.

Preparation of athletes for major benchmark events is the primary focus of the HPAC. This incorporates all the elements of DSAs high performance program such as athlete welfare and support, sports science and sports medicine, national coaching infrastructure, competition and the elite athlete pathway.

The HPAC will focus on all aspects of high performance at DSA, but will consider the 2005 Australian Deaflympic Team, as it's primary concern for 2004.
